Project

In 2021, the Legislature adopted House Bill 2944 which authorized OCIA to issue bonds to fund the construction of a museum through the Oklahoma Military Department. The new museum will replace the 45th Infantry Division Museum, and better tell the entire story of the Oklahoma National Guard while also preserving artifacts and providing additional space. The new museum will be built near the current museum at N.E. 36th & Martin Luther King Avenue in Oklahoma City.

The new museum will be over 60,000 square feet and feature state-of-the-art interactive exhibit spaces, archive and research library facilities, and collections storage and preservation areas, all designed to more fully tell the story of the Army and Air National Guard.
